But that all tilts sideways when two girls who look eerily like her appear on her doorstep and claim they’re triplets, supernatural descendants of some hideous creature from Greek myth, destined to spend their lives hunting monsters. Greer has her life pretty well put together, thank you very much. She never expected to run into this girl who could be her double, though.

Gretchen is tired of monsters pulling her out into the wee hours, especially on a school night, but what can she do? Sending the minotaur back to his bleak home is just another notch on her combat belt. And even more shocking when a girl who looks just like her shows up to fight the monster. It gets scarier when a minotaur walks in the door. The change is full of fresh possibilities, but it’s also a tiny bit scary. She was one of those characters that I just couldn't help but want to learn about.Grace just moved to San Francisco and is excited to start over at a new school. One character I was hoping to see more of was Ursula, Gretchen's protector. He is one of those guys with the look and nothing upstairs. As she was introduced later in the book I'm hoping I'll warm up to her in the second. I wasn't a fan of hers at first, but she's growing on me. I found myself liking him, but not loving him. Also, he has secrets I'm itching to learn about! Milo (Grace's love interest and Thane's friend) is really cool, and I'd say he's charming. Is it just me or does anyone else like Thane? I think that he is really. That was a bit unrealistic, but entertaining none the less. I found it a bit odd how she accepted the fact that she could see monsters and that she had two other sisters so easily. Grace is a girl that flies under the radar. I think that he's adorable, but I'm interested in finding out more about him. Nick is her love interest, but there is something strange about him. She's the most BA and I liked how she had a really hard outer shell, but inside she's just another teenage girl. Out of the three sisters I liked Gretchen. This was also a quick read, and was super fast paced! Also, I love that it incorporated Greek mythology in it because I feel like I haven't read enough of it in YA lit. I really liked the concept for the story! It was something a little different than I've read before. It's their job to send them back to the world from which they came.

They have the ability to see monsters from Greek mythology that normal humans can't. Grace, Gretchen and Greer are triplets, but they just found out. I was hooked on this book from the beginning!
